Dorsum and venter without sclerotized plates. Cx-I medially separated. Capitulum not fused with idiosoma, with a long anchoral process. Cx-IV with long posterior apodemes. Genital field with three pairs of acetabula. I-and II-leg-5 ventrally with a row of heavy setae and a row of hyaline setae. I- and II-leg-6 bowed, ventrally with numerous fine setae. Swimming setae absent. The genus is characterized by both I- and II-leg-56 modified. Ventral margin of PIV with two heavy setae, located close to each other.

In almost all characters the new genus is similar to
