). The esophagus-intestine transition begins in intersegment 25 and the Sshaped typhlosole begins in segment 26, occupying 1/3 of the intestinal lumen. There are no intestinal caeca. Intestinal content consisted mostly of abundant fine organic matter, especially cellulose residues, with absence of small stones or quartz-type minerals.
