This taxon has a low conical test with trochospiral coiling, a truncated apex, flattened base and compressed chambers. Each whorl partially overlaps the preceeding whorl and the innermost obscures the central umbilical area of the test. The whorls wrap on an angle giving a flat-topped conical profile with a thickened carinate periphery (
