</taxonomicName>

this species was known mainly from the Gulf and Atlantic Coastal Plain region. Subsequent work has found this species further inland (e.g. Great Smoky Mountains National Park,

). One of us (SAG) has also collected this species from the Big South Fork Cumberland River in northern

. More records of this species from the Cumberland River drainage are expected.
