: Valves broadly lanceolate with sub-rostrate apices. Raphe branches straight, ending centrally in simple pores. Axial area narrow, raised below apices, central area small and transapically dilated. Transapical striae monoseriate formed by rounded areolae, slightly radiate throughout.
