D e s c r i p t i o n. The shell is small, ventri-biconvex, subcircular,

wide, with carinate ventral and sulcate dorsal valve, and with a moderately thick wall. The dorsal valve has 13 to 15 rounded undivided ribs slightly curved laterally. Microornamentation consists of fine growth fila.
