||
Holotype, male (Fig. 44a). Length 2.24 mm. Color of antennae and legs ferruginous; remainder dark ferruginous to black. Body subovate; in dorsal aspect with weak constriction between pronotum and elytron; in profile dorsally convex, with very weak constriction between pronotum and elytron. Rostrum dorsally coarsely rugose punctate; with sparse suberect setae; epistome posteriorly with transverse ridge, medially and laterally with small denticle. Pronotum with weak subapical constriction; disk coarsely punctate-reticulate; with irregular median ridge. Elytra with striae deeply impressed, containing rows of punctures each with short, suberect seta; humerus irregularly scabrous; sutural interval punctate, other intervals costate, subglabrous, with sparse punctures. Femora with small, blunt denticle; anterior surface rugose-punctate, dull, with sparse recumbent piliform scales. Metafemur subapically with stridulatory patch. Abdominal ventrites 1-2 concave, microreticulate, with coarse punctures; ventrite 5 flat, at middle with shallow impression, microreticulate, coarsely punctate.
