Another aspect concerns the size of the ptychocyst capsules and the tube construction. Based on the small pieces of tube close to the specimen body, it is possible to observe a coarse grain size in the sediment used, so the construction of the tube must require longer ptychocyst filaments to be able to use this sediment as part of the tube (
