Head sooty to black, frons before eyes pale lemon yellow, sometimes with dark median spot behind clypeus, mouthparts sienna to honey yellow, antennae black, head behind eyes with arcuate basal spot reaching posterior margin of eyes anteriorly and narrowly divided in its middle. Pronotum terracotta with narrow, mediolongitudinal black spot, prosternum black. Legs sepia to black, knees, short apices of tibiae and claws ferrugineous. Scutellum, meso- and metasternum and ventral part of abdomen black. Elytra terracotta with two or rarely three interstices darkened, sepia.

), 8 nearly parallel-sided, 9–11 slender. Surface of head very finely imbricate-punctate, with sparse, long, decumbent ferrugineous pubescence, semilustrous. Pronotum ca as long as wide, anterior margin convex, anterior corners rounded, lateral margins slightly concave in anterior third, strongly diverging posteriorly, posterior corners nearly sharp, protruding laterad, posterior margin convex, slightly sinuate before corners. Surface of pronotum sculptured like that of head, but with denser pubescence, nearly matt. Claws simple. Elytra parallel-sided, apex of each elytron rounded, elytral venation well developed, sutural veins 1– 2 costate. Surface of elytra very finely rugulose-lacunose, with rather dense, short, decumbent orange pubescence, combined with much sparser and longer, semierect orange pubescence, matt. Aedeagus as in
