described or illustrated that (1) the second to fourth pedigerous somites have well-developed dorsolateral tergal folds, (2) the caudal rami are about 2.5 times longer than wide, (3) the antennule is armed with 3 or 4 setae distally, (4) the antenna is armed with 5 setae, (5) the distal setae on the endopods of the swimming legs are distinctly shorter than endopodal segments, and (6) the laterodistal seta on the endopods of the swimming legs is distinctly longer than the mediodistal seta. Our specimens from Suez exhibit the above diagnostic features and there are no significant differences from the original description.
