: Preparations made from the five parts used to regulate bile and phlegm, as well as to bind the blood.
<emphasis italics="true" pageId="38" pageNumber="39">Leaf</emphasis>
: Water from soaking the leaves is used for eye drops to alleviate burning.
<emphasis italics="true" pageId="38" pageNumber="39">Bark</emphasis>
: Liquid from boiling the bark is taken to relieve constipation and to stop hemorrhaging. Sap extracted from the bark is used to compound medicines for treating wounds and sores.

: Oil extracted from the seeds is used to make remedies for aches, pains, gonorrhea, leprosy, and other skin diseases.
