Monné (2015) indicates this species is distributed in the northern half of South

. It was recorded only recently from Hispaniola by Audureau (2012). It was not recorded from the island by Perez-Gelabert (2008) nor was it collected on any expedition from FSCA, CMNH, or USNM. The Hispaniolan specimen s data labels indicate only “Saint Domingue”, without province or date. Therefore, these records must be viewed with skepticism.
