. This suggests that it is probably established in New

, possibly native to New

. The specimens taken to the south of Darwin in the Northern Territory of

across Cape York, made a second landfall near Maningrida in the Northern Territory, and circled the coast toward Darwin, moving south before turning inland. While this demonstrated that such an event can occur, survival of small insects such as microcaddisflies over such a distance and time span would be unlikely. Further data are needed to determine if this species is established in the north of
