Eyes large, prominent; the distance between eyes about 2.0 times as long as the maximum diameter of an eye. Antennae short, reaching to basal margin of elytra. Pronotum punctate as on head, strongly depressed in lateral parts; anterior margin straight; antero- and postero-lateral corners obtuse; lateral and posterior margins gently arcuate; PW/PL 2.322.52 (2.42). Scutellar shield punctate as on head, equilaterally triangular. Elytra oval, punctate as in head, widest at the middle, gently arcuate in lateral margins; humeral parts weakly projecting; apices right-angled; EL/EW 1.281.31 (1.29); EL/PL 4.804.88 (4.84); EW/PW 1.481.62 (1.55); TL/EW 1.541.58 (1.56). Legs slender, moderate in length.</paragraph>
