) we found that the populations from both these localities vary morphologically. Specimens from the Shivapuri Lekh have, on average, less impressed striae on the elytra than those from Mt. Phulchoki. However, this feature seems to vary continuously with no distinct limit between the different populations. Additional investigations based on more comprehensive material are thus needed to understand the actual geographical variation of the species.
