DESCRIPTION. HEAD: Mandibles, more or less parallel sided, apically twisted more than 50°; upper mandibular tooth 1.3 (1.251.4) times as long as the lower which is stouter and rather swollen ventrally; outer mandibular surface sparcely pubescent, more or less flat with a weak proximal concavity. Labrum 0.22 (0.190.25) times as long as broad; malar space 0.38 (0.380.39) times as long as basal mandibular width. Clypeus in profile rather flat, in front view 1.5 (1.51.58) times as broad as long, its margin impressed. Lower face 0.71 (0.700.72) times as broad as long, polished, punctate. Head in dorsal view with genae rounded; posterior ocellus contiguous with eye; FI = 55 % (5259 %); occipital carina mediodorsally complete, ventrally curved to join hypostomal carina about 0.7 times the basal mandibular width away from mandible. Antenna slender, with 60 flagellar segments; 20th segment 2.2 times as long as broad. MESOSOMA: Mesoscutum polished, finely punctate, in profile evenly rounded; notauli vestigial. Mesopleuron polished, the upper part punctate, the rest striate; epicnemial carina inclined towards anterior margin of pleuron, its upper end weak. Scutellum in profile convex, laterally carinate for all of its length; scutellum in dorsal view 1.4 times as long as anteriorly broad, polished, posteriorly wrinkled. Metapleuron weakly convex, striate grading anteroventrally to punctate; submetapleural carinae no disctintly broad anteriorly; posterior transverse carina of mesosternum complete. Propodeum in profile evenly declivous; anterior transverse carina complete, posterior transverse carina absent; anterior area excavate and striate; spiracular area moderately large, smooth; posterior area reticulate laterally, centrally with rugae tending to be concentric; lateral longitudinal carina complete and joined to spiracular margin by a short carina. Hind leg with coxa in profile 1.7 times as long as deep; trochantellus dorsally 0.2 times as long as broad; 4th segment of tarsus 2.3 times as long as broad; claws long, bearing fine pectinae, apically curved. METASOMA: Metasoma slender; tergite

COLOUR: Generally orange­brown; with face, orbits, scutellum and part of mesopleuron paler yellow, metasoma with tergites 3+ dark brown; interocellar area yellowish; antenna brown; pterostigma orange­brown; wings weakly infumate. VARIATION: The
