Forewing with costal margin arched, apex narrowly rounded; ground color blackish brown, with a yellow spot at base; median fascia whitish yellow, from middle of costal margin extending to end of fold, widened posteriorly; distal spot yellow, inverted triangular, large, its width about 2/5 width of forewing, situated at distal 1/4; plical spot black, at distal 1/3 of fold; discal and discocellular spots black, at inner and at outer margins of cell respectively; fringe concolorous with wing. Hindwing and fringe greyish brown. Legs yellow; on ventral surface, coxa of foreleg with scattered blackish-brown scales, femur with covered blackish-brown scales, tibia blackish brown except yellow apically, tarsus blackish brown except yellow at base of basal tarsomere and at apices of basal two tarsomeres, femur of midleg blackish brown apically, tibia blackish brown except yellow at middle and at apex, tarsus with basal four tarsomeres blackish brown except yellow at apices and at base of basal tarsomere, tibia of hindleg with scattered greyish-brown scales, tarsus of hindleg with scattered greyish-brown scales, denser on basal tarsomere.

). Uncus sub-lanceolate, with dense short setae. Tegumen short, shallowly concave medially on anterior margin, uniformly wide except slightly narrowed apically. Valva broad, widened medially, thereafter slightly narrowed to rounded apex, with dense long setae in distal half; costa a narrowly banded, slightly arched medially; transtilla a slender bar, joined medially. Sacculus slighter longer than saccus; triangular, wide at base, narrowed to apex, slightly concave medially on dorsal margin, heavily sclerotized and with sparse short setae in distal 1/3; apex acute, curved dorsad. Saccus sub-triangular, rounded at apex, slightly shorter than uncus. Juxta U-shaped.
