This species was described from “a small series” in the Horn Collection from

, with no other collecting data and no mention of a
<typeStatus id="54E21DE9FFD73D7A81C3F89AFE09F8B0" box="[436,484,1812,1836]" pageId="0" pageNumber="590">type</typeStatus>
designation. However, oddly,

remarked that the

was lost, but that three specimens from the
<typeStatus id="54E21DE9FFD73D7A81A4F8B6FDEEF8CC" box="[467,515,1848,1872]" pageId="0" pageNumber="590">type</typeStatus>
series were available in the Horn Collection at ANSP. Horns collection of
