This is a striking species characterized by coarse contiguous punctures, a long narrow mesosoma, a color pattern made up of contrasting silver and black setae, and four conspicuous yellow maculae on tergum II. Also, the head is black, with the antennal scrobe and gena strongly carinate, and a strong genal carina. It lacks a scutellar scale, and the pygidium is coarsely rugose.
