male. Size, 11.5 mm x 4.1 mm. Dull bronze dorsally with prominent elytral striae, discal foveae indistinct, and dorsal surface heavily uniformly punctate. Head with frons and antennae brilliant greenish; occiput with broad, smooth, black, grooved, inverted Y-shaped longitudinal carina, arms of Y are somewhat indistinct copper-magenta cells; very fine lined copper-magenta chevron on frons below arms of Y; Head densely clothed with medium length downward curving white setae; clypeus semicircularly rounded on each side of median notch with mass of white setae between base of antennae and lateral margin of clypeus; antennae slightly narrowed toward apex, and apical antennomeres slightly longer than wide. Pronotum 1.7 times wider than long, sides widest at anterior ¼, decreasing to posterior ¼ then narrowing to base; anterior margin sinuate and greenish; posterior margin strongly sinuate, median lobe strongly produced and broadly rounded in front of scutellum; disc convex, with longitudinal median depression; raised area of surface with small indistinct striae on either side of median depression, lacking anteriorly; raised callosity laterally in front of middle. Scutellum small, triangular, dark-green. Elytra distinctly wider than pronotum, sides rounded in front, becoming broader till basal 3/5, then narrowing to serrulate apex; surface glabrous with three longitudinal smooth costae, two distinct costae nearer elytral suture distinct, running from base and merging before apex; 3rd costa less distinct arising behind humeral area and disappearing at indistinct discal foveae, reappearing and becoming stronger toward apex; surface punctate near elytral suture becoming rugose near lateral margin of elytron. Underside: bronze; irregularly punctate, clothed with short setae; lateral margins of abdominal ventrites with slightly raised greenish-black irregular smooth areas; last visible ventrite emarginate at apex with serrate submarginal costa; proventrite densely punctured, with dense long white setae. Legs have profemur with large obtuse tooth, serrulate on outside, pro- and mesofemora greenish-red; protibia strongly arcuate, with five teeth, and greenish-purple on lateral margin; metatibia bronze and nearly straight; all tarsi greenish. Allotype female. Size, 13.1 mm x 5.8 mm. same form as male, but slightly larger, Head brownish, with only sparse setae on frons; longitudinal grooved black carina running from occiput to upper frons, two raised oval irregular areas above middle of frons nearer to midline than eyes; lower ½ of frons with irregular cells while upper frons is densely punctate. Antennae bronze with sensory area of each antennomere darker. Last abdominal tergite with deep rough depressions lateral to median costa. Underside: entirely metallic brown; sparsely clothed with white setae; all legs brown with greenish tarsi; lateral irregular callosites on abdominal ventrites 2, 3, and 4 bluish with bronze punctures.
