Line along upper margin of anepisternum very narrow, reddish brown, wing almost hyaline, only stigma yellow, cell r2+3 hyaline and cells r4 and r4+5 slightly infumated, tibiae and femora entirely yellow, abdomen oval and black. Gonostylus with submedian inner spine, genital capsule somewhat heart-shaped, deeply emarginated in middle distally.

. Head about as long as high in profile, eye covering greater part of head surface and thus face, gena and postocular area not visible in lateral view, only ocellar triangle prominent. Head in dorsal view about 1.2 times broader than long. Shining black lower frons with transverse, whitish tomentose stripe reaching eye margin on each side and continuing as a narrow line along eyes on face. Antenna yellow but flagellum more orange. Pedicel without distinct prominence on distal inner margin, flagellum barely longer than wide at base, arista yellow. Face black with short white and scattered longer black hairs. Postgena with longer white and erect hairs. Proboscis yellow, minute palpi indistinct among hairs.

Thoracic pile short and white although mainly erect. Anepisternum mainly bare, katepisternum with longer white pubescence. Posterior margin of scutellum narrowly yellow, scutellar spines completely yellow. Wing mostly hyaline, stigma yellow, cells r4 and r4+5 slightly infumated, cell r2+3 always paler. Legs predominantly yellow, only fore tarsus sometimes more brownish due to dense dark pubescence on dorsal side.</paragraph>

Transverse supra-antennal silvery whitish patch occupying about 2/3 oflower frons and reaching eye margin on each side. Antennal flagellum relatively large and orange, pedicel with subtriangular projection at inner distal margin. Arista short pubescent, yellow but darkened in apical fourth. Face with fine whitish pubescence more distinct as whitish margin along eyes. Palpus slightly dilated, overlapping middle of labellum, brown. Postocular area in dorsal view as broad as scape is long and only slightly narrowed laterally. Head pile inconspicuous, longer, yellow and erect on proboscis and darkened on palpus.

Posterior margin of scutellum and spines bright yellow, middle spines distinctly longer. Scutum relatively short, only 1.3 times as long as broad in middle. Pile on scutum very short, semiappressed, consisting of mixed white and reddish brown hairs but predominantly white in lateral view. Anepisternum extensively bare and shining, katepisternum densely whitish tomentose. Wing with markedly yellow strong basal veins, other veins brownish, wing membrane almost hyaline, only stigma yellow and cells r4 and r4+5 indistinctly infumated. Calypters and halter yellow. Legs yellow including coxae but fore tarsomeres darkened.</paragraph>
