was described from the Middle Eocene of Central Texas based on young specimens only (up to

in length), including the

. Based on differences in sculpture and the lack of columellar plaits, we reject a classification of this species in
<emphasis id="B593EABF7B39FFB5FC82F8E4A4B0F884" box="[823,966,1865,1888]" italics="true" pageId="8" pageNumber="247">Pyramimitra</emphasis>
, but cannot make any decisive conclusion on its correct family or generic position.
