The type locality of this new species is in an area settled by this aboriginal tribe. The specific name is a native word, not a Latin or Latinized word.</paragraph>

<paragraph id="51E840390F0F366A42776A166C726419" pageId="4" pageNumber="53">Body firm, muscular, elongated, gaining regularly in width in caudal direction, dorso-ventral depressed, sides nearly parallel from mid-length to point just anterior to caudal sucker, BL 70.9 mm, BW 6.4 mm (Fig. 2). Caudal sucker ventral, oval, diameter smaller than BW (Figs 2B, 3D). Color faded in preservative (Fig. 2).</paragraph>
