The species name is a noun in apposition derived from the Chinese pinyin
<normalizedToken originalValue="“dúmùzhōu”">&quot;dumuzhōu&quot;</normalizedToken>
(canoe) and refers to the structure of the spermathecae which resembles a canoe.
