Adult: Male antennae ciliate-fasciculate, female antennae filiform. Palpi of both sexes broad, bushy scaled, length in male 1.0, in female 1.5 times diameter of eye. Hind tibia of both sexes with two pairs of unequal spurs. Upperside of wings with inconspicuous, elongate discal spots, postmedial line of forewings sharp, strongly curved. Underside yellow, black terminal fascia conspicuous. Male genitalia: Uncus with three short sclerotised spines, lateral lobes below uncus swollen, saccus triangular, dorsal process of valva naked, with curved spinule at tip, aedeagus comparatively broad, with bundle of small cornuti at base, vesica condensed to a broad cornutus-like sclerite at tip. Female genitalia: Lamellae ante- and post-vaginalis sclerotised (elongate rhomboid), posteriorly rounded, ductus bursae sclerotised, long, helicoid, longitudinally furrowed, corpus bursae membranous, signum large, star-shaped.</paragraph>
