Nehojný na vegetacÍ zarůstajÍcÍch okrajÍch mokřadů, vrchovišť, rašelinišť a pastvin v okolÍ vodnÍch ploch. Larvy se zřejmě živÍ mšicemi na bylinÁch jako u jiných druhů rodu.</paragraph>
