). The length of the free versus fused portion of the accessory branch of the antennal flagellum varies between 1.1 and 2.2, with a median value of about 1.7; the number of divisions in the free part varies between 10 and 13, whereas the number of divisions in the fused part varies between 6 and 9.

<paragraph id="8B99A80C560BFFF260EEB33E8EA1F8BA" blockId="4.[151,1437,151,2013]" pageId="4" pageNumber="394">The comparative lengths of the left and right second pereiopods differs slightly, with sometimes one being longer (left or right), and on occasion both being of approximately the same length. In terms of subdivision of the second pereiopod, the number of divisions of the merus ranges from 13 to 18, with less variation seen in the carpus (2527). Typically, there is a slight difference (12 divisions) between the left and the right sides. The number of spines on the merus (combined for mesial and ventral series) varies significantly on the third pereiopod (39) with one individual having no spines at all. Less variation in this feature exists on the fourth (25) and fifth (12) pereiopods. The number of ventral spiniform setae on the third pereiopod propodus is also not constant, ranging from 6 to 10, with the distal one always being paired</paragraph>
