This species was described from an unknown number of specimens (syntypic) with the following data:

; Moulmein (Brit. Mus.). Subsequent to removal of the type's abdomen most of the specimen became detached from its mount and was lost; examination of the remaining thoracic parts on a short pin revealed glue had been used in the past to fix the specimen. From a previously taken image of the
