Head reddish brown. Pronotum and scutellum reddish brown. Elytra predominantly red, with wide black band along basal and lateral margins, band on lateral margins expanded at middle and apex of elytra. Elytral punctures fine and sparsely distributed, similar to those on pronotum, 1.03.0 diameters apart, with several large punctures around the central black spot. Elytral margins very wide, visible from above.</paragraph>

Mesoventral surface shiny, punctures similar to those on prosternum, with scattered short setae. Metaventrite shiny and broad, covered by coarse and dense punctures.. Elytral epipleuron broad, complete to apex, feebly foveate to accommodate femoral tips of hind legs. Wings well-developed.</paragraph>
