Shell medium, turbiniform, moderately phaneromphalous with convex crenulated selenizone in the middle of whorl; protoconch seemingly smooth, collabral threads in the nepionic whorls; 1 spiral cord above and 2 below selenizone; collabral cords sharp, regularly spaced; outer lip with a wide shallow sinus culminating at the periphery in a short slit.</paragraph>
