Body elongate cylindrical, tawny, shiny. Body wall ossifying. The anterior and posterior border of the first tergite and the posterior borders of 2–11 tergites covered with dark brown platbands, on which blanketed with fine longitudinal grains, and other part of the 1–11 tergites with grainy shallow wrinkles. Median line is obvious at the first 4 segments. Besides the last segment, each tergite has 6 pairs of long hairs, of which 3 pairs are at the anterior section, and 3 other pairs are at the posterior section (
