Narrow, elongate, bluntly ovoid, sub­oblong, anterior pole slightly wider than posterior, polar profile circular, dorso­ventrally flattened (Figs 144, 145 &amp; 147).

: Egg unmarked, apart from hexagonal cells with flat floors, aeropyles only visible on and near anterior pole (Figs 145, 147 &amp; 149). Cells in micropylar area recessed, cell walls narrow (Figs 145 &amp; 146). Cells surrounding anterior pole defined only by aeropyles at cell wall junctions. Aeropyles slightly elevated, openings small (Fig. 149).
