Head—body 81-90 mm, tall 34-44 mm, ear 18-25 mm, hindfoot 11-15 mm, forearm 51-55 mm. Fur is short, sleek and almost lacking across shoulder, medium sepia-brown or yellowish brown with no grizzling spots above, with dark patch behind and below ear; below pale grayish brown, pale pinkish gray or pale yellowish brown becoming darker on flanks, with no mid-ventral markings or contrasting flank-stripe; orange morph is pale rusty brown above and pinkish buff below. Upper lip has 8-9 well-defined wrinkles on each side and many spoon-hairs. Wings and uropatagium are dark brown. Ears are dark brown and relatively long (almost reaching muzzle when laid flat), inner margins connected by interaural band of skin having forward-facing fold. Tragus is minute, and concealed by antitragus, which is large and trapezoid. Anterior palate is closed, and basisphenoid pits are deep. As is typical for
