Moderately large, robust species. General color or dorsum uniformly light brown; mesonotum and pronotum with black spots; crown light brown; eyes translucent (Plate IIA); face black with few light brown spots on clypus and ocellocular area, median brown stripe on clypellus.

<paragraph id="6F1136B2FF96E17DFF0DE397CEA18B9B" blockId="27.[151,1437,582,1435]" pageId="27" pageNumber="28">Head broad, narrower than pronotum, anterior margin broadly rounded; crown broad, slightly narrower than eye, produced distally about ¼ of entire length, lateral margins parallel, disk foveate of each side of middle; eyes large, semiglobular; pronotum slight longer than crown, surface bullated; mesonotum large, nearly twice and long as pronotum; forewings long, broad, venation typical; clypeus long, broad, lateral margins broadly convex, with prominent median longitudinal carina; clypellus about 1/3 as long as clypeus, narrow, with inflated longitudinal ridge from base to near apex.</paragraph>
