<paragraph id="257986A20C155AAF5FC8B001E6934333" pageId="391" pageNumber="392">This species is known from Newfoundland to central Alaska, south to northeastern British Columbia and southern Alberta in the Rocky Mountains (Lindroth 1963b: 389). Fossil remnants of this species, dated between about 10,400 and 28,000 years B.P., have been unearthed in eastern Minnesota, northeastern Wisconsin, Illinois (Schwert 1992: 77), Iowa (Baker et al. 1986: 96; Schwert 1992: 77), central North Dakota (Ashworth and Schwert 1992: 260), and Cape Breton Island in Nova Scotia (Miller 1997: 250).</paragraph>
