ECOLOGY. It has a preference for mesic habitats, being found in sandy wadis and rocky slopes with vegetation and moisture. Specimens taken by day were sheltering under rocks. The yellow color of the body would blend well with lighter substrates where it was collected, while the dark brown/ black posterior metasoma and telson would stand out in contrast.
