Head and frons greyish brown; vertex pale yellowish brown; occipital fringe pale yellowish brown with white apex. Scape of antenna dark brown, with a yellow patch dorsally. Labial palpus long, brown on outer surface, speckled with pale yellowish white dots on second segment Tegula dark brown. Thorax uniform dark brown, with two distinct black dots medially. Fore-, mid- and hindleg dark brown ventrally, tinged with yellowish white patches; hind tibia yellowish brown, with dark brown scale-tufts at one-third, at middle, and at terminal; each part before tufts with yellowish patch medially; tufts with creamy white scales apically. Forewing cleft from about two-thirds of length; ground colour greyish brown with scattered uniform dark fuscous scales; first lobe sharply produced apically, with falcate termen; second lobe with more strongly concave termen, apex sharply acute. Markings of forewing dark brown; a dark brown, broad, trapezoidal fascia before cleft, followed by a creamy white streak along inner margin of first lobe; the other similar fascia beyond cleft; another more distinct one beyond two-thirds of the lobe followed by yellowish white subterminal line; black scales beyond one-third of inner margin; termen with creamy white fringe; second lobe with shorter subterminal line; a small scale-tooth before two-thirds on inner margin.
