Head with labial palp orange-yellow, distal half of second palpomere dorsally and laterally and terminal palpomere laterally black; frons covered with smooth, broad scales, blackish-grey with pearly gloss, white adjacent to the eye; hair-like scales of vertex broad, glossy black; between antenna and ocellus an orangeyellow spot; antenna black, dorsally with white subapical spot or with narrow white, apically extending stripe; pericephalic scales orange-yellow, dorsally mixed with black. Thorax dorsally black, ventrally and laterally orange; patagia glossy black; tegula black, anterior part and inner margin orange-yellow; mesothorax with fine orange-yellow dorso-medial line, posteriorly mottled with orange scales; metathorax with scarce orange scales. Abdomen long and slender; tergites 1 and 2 black, dorso-medially orange-red; tergite 3 black with narrow orange-red posterior margin; tergites 4 and 5 orange-red dorso-anteriorly with black spot; tergites 6 and 7 dorsally black, laterally mottled with orange-red; sternites 16 orange-yellow with pale whitish gloss, sternite 7 black; anal tuft black, long and slender, scales with greyish-white tip, laterally and ventrally some orange-red scales. Foreleg orange-yellow, somewhat lighter than other legs; mid- and hindleg bright orange with coxa orange-yellow, femur proximally and tibia distally with glossy black spot; tibia and first tarsomere of hindleg entirely covered with rough, hair-like scales. Forewing narrow; transparent areas large; longitudinal transparent area long, extending to discal spot; external transparent area six-partite; apical area narrow, interspace between veins R3M2 with some orange-brown scales; veins, margins and costal area black; discal spot slender, black, distally somewhat orange-brown; anal vein basaly orange-red; underside proximally yellow; discal spot, except for proximal margin and area between vein R1 R3 more or less orange-red. Hindwing broader than forewing; veins, margins and discal spot black, the latter very small, triangular, reaching M2. Fringe of both wings greyish-black. The female is unknown. The male genitalia (

) with a rather long and narrow valva, distally somewhat pointed, about 3 times longer than broad, the bald area shorter than 1/3 of the total length; saccus short and narrow, apically rounded; phallus narrow, nearly as long as valva, apically with distinct tooth; vesica long and narrow, proximally somewhat enlarged, apically tapering with sclerotised dorsal band.
