This single thickset otolith is characterised by a rectangular shape and an elliptic sulcus, filled completely by an undivided colliculum (

). The sulcus margins are thick and swollen, and a slight constriction is observed at the middle of both anterior and posterior rims of the otolith. It is more similar to specimens from the lower Pleistocene deposits of northern
