Size (length/width, mm x 100)

: body (length to elytral apices) 233/104, head 56/63, pronotum 48/93, elytra 152/104. Dorsum piceous, legs dark brown. Granules of frons disc and pronotal disc similar in size, those on clypeus smaller, sparser. Maxillary palpi robust, length ca. 3/4 width of anterior margin of clypeus, ultomere ovoid, slightly longer and wider than penultomere. Mentum anterior margin weakly arcuate, with tiny apicomedian process; disc with large median depression.

<paragraph id="8B8E36CF810B2100FEF854038569FA33" blockId="14.[264,1325,918,1905]" pageId="14">Pronotum with granules comparatively sparse, especially on lateral depressions; lateral margins markedly fimbriate; disc very weakly transversely convex.</paragraph>
<paragraph id="8B8E36CF810B2100FEF854B38275F923" blockId="14.[264,1325,918,1905]" pageId="14">Elytral intervals: 2nd with three costae, first longest and highest, length of second subequal that of non­costate sections; 4th raised slightly in four short subcostae; 1st non­granulate in over basal 1/3, widest at base and gradually tapering posteriorly where punctures become confluent; 3rd non­granulate over basal 1/3, remainder with unilinear row of granules, not tapering posteriorly like 1st interval; 5th and 7th each with unilinear row of granules. Elytral apices each with acuminate process.</paragraph>
<paragraph id="8B8E36CF810B2100FEF857C38293F8AB" blockId="14.[264,1325,918,1905]" pageId="14">Prosternum flat in front of coxae. Metasternum with oval depression. Females with last sternite posterior margin arcuate, basomedial depression very shallow; last tergite posterior margin arcuate, bearing fringe of short stout spines.</paragraph>
