This species differs from other congeners by the following combination of characters: body dark reddish brown; apical margin of abdominal tergite VII widely rounded; metathoracic discrimen absent; subcoxal lines on abdominal sternite III absent; pro- and mesotarsal segments II and III of males moderately dilated; tegmen long, subparallel-sided at basal half, then strongly convergent apically; TL/TW = 2.32 (
<emphasis id="4A9FCE20FFFEFF8E0804E9DBFDEC8DB2" box="[517,529,407,428]" italics="true" pageId="45">n</emphasis>
= 1); apical margin of tegmen narrowly rounded in ventral view; median lobe subparallel-sided; apical margin of median lobe truncate; apices of gonocoxites square, with apicolateral corners widely rounded.
