Head retracted into the prothorax, nearly as broad as the anterior portion of pronotum; frontoclypeus broad, feebly convex, finely densely punctuate; eyes large, oval, inner margins converging above.

Antennal sockets distinctly separated, located close to inner margin of eyes. Scape narrow, slightly longer than wide, pedicel short, stout, antennomere 3 slightly longer than wide.</paragraph>
<paragraph id="8BBC3A72FFE0FFCEFF4ED80DFD7FF92B" blockId="1.[151,1437,1143,2032]" pageId="1" pageNumber="356">Pronotum trapezoidal, about 2.0 times as wide as long, the widest part at its base; anterior margin arcuate, posterior margin slightly bisinuate; lateral margins straight. Prosternum long in front of coxae; prosternal process narrower than coxal diameter, narrowing apically, apex feebly pointed, reaching well beyond procoxa; postcoxal projections absent; notosternal sutures well developed.</paragraph>
<paragraph id="8BBC3A72FFE0FFCEFF4ED89CFCABF8E3" blockId="1.[151,1437,1143,2032]" pageId="1" pageNumber="356">Elytra with epipleuron narrow, with inner margin subparallel to elytral margin, surfaces without obvious rows of punctures or grooves but with irregular micropunctures.</paragraph>
<paragraph id="8BBC3A72FFE0FFCEFF4ED965FE89F80B" blockId="1.[151,1437,1143,2032]" pageId="1" pageNumber="356">Mesocoxae rounded, separated by about coxal diameter; mesoventrite damaged partially missing, mesanepisternum and mesepimeron disassociated on one side. Metaventrite with complete discrimen; metanepisternum triangular, converging posteriorly; metepimeron not visible. Transverse metaventral suture distinctly bisinuate medially, incomplete laterally. Metacoxae transverse with well developed plates; anterior margin sinuate, hind margin weakly oblique. Abdomen with five visible ventrites, the basal two connate; ventrite 5 triangular.</paragraph>
<paragraph id="8BBC3A72FFE3FFCDFF4EDED8FDC8FF2F" blockId="2.[151,1436,151,284]" pageId="2" pageNumber="357">Legs, protrochanter triangular, protibiae feebly arcuate; meso- and metatrochanter trapeziform; femora robust; metatibiae straight; tarsi not preserved.</paragraph>

Length 35.3 mm, width 12.5 mm; body elongate-ovoid. Antennae incomplete, right antenna missing antennomeres 9-11, left one missing antennomeres 10-11. Elytra 23.5 mm long, 3.8 times as long as wide, the widest part at the apical 1/3; lateral margins rounded at base, widening to apical 1/3, then gradually narrowing to slightly emarginate bidentate apices; epipleuron narrow, with inner margin subparallel to elytral margin, from anterior 1/3 extended to the apex; disc with a narrow longitudinal band and 5 oblong spots. Ventral surface reticulate, finely punctuate. Abdomen with five visible ventrites, the first ventrite 2.4 times as long as the second one, ventrites 2-4 subequal in length, ventrite 5 triangular, 1.4 times as long as the previous one, the apex of the ventrite 5 tridentate.
