. Integument dark-brown, blackish on some areas; parts or mouthparts reddish-brown, with apex of labial palpomeres III and maxillary palpomeres IIII pale yellowish; antennomeres reddish-brown except darkened apex of IIIX.

. Frons minutely, sparsely punctate except fine punctures laterally; with yellowish pubescence not obscuring integument, except band with yellow, dense pubescence close to lower eye lobes; with long, erect, sparse, yellowish setae laterally. Area between antennal tubercles with some coarse punctures; with yellowish pubescence not obscuring integument, almost glabrous centrally. Area between upper eye lobes and prothoracic margin almost smooth (but partially microsculptured centrally); with yellowish pubescence, denser between eyes, gradually sparser toward prothorax, mainly laterally. Area between eyes and antennal tubercles with narrow band with yellow pubescence. Tempora microsculptured behind upper eye lobes and on tumid area close to lower eye lobe; area behind lower eye lobes transversely sulcate close to tumid region, densely striate-punctate between sulcus and prothorax; area close to eye with band with dense, yellow pubescence, gradually sparser, more yellowish toward prothorax; with some long, erect, yellowish setae close to upper eye lobe. Antennal tubercles elevated, close each other on base, microsculptured; with yellowish pubescence not obscuring integument. Coronal suture distinct from about center of frons to prothoracic margin. Genae 0.65 times width of lower eye lobe; microsculptured, except sub-triangular area close to eye almost smooth except some fine, transverse striae; with yellowish pubescence toward ventral side, yellow toward dorsal side close to eye, gradually glabrous toward apex, glabrous on sub-triangular area (mainly close to eye). Gulamentum glabrous, smooth toward prothorax; gradually depressed, semi-circularly striate, glabrous toward elevated area close to mentum; elevated area close to mentum microsculptured, with row with moderately fine, sparse punctures, with yellowish pubescence not obscuring integument, interspersed with long, erect, yellowish-brown setae. Postclypeus transversely, moderately deeply sulcate close to frons; basal half coplanar with frons, sub-smooth; distal half sloped, moderately finely, abundantly punctate; with short, decumbent, moderately abundant yellowish setae, distinctly no obscuring integument, interspersed with long, yellowish setae directed forward, mainly on sloped area. Labrum convex, sub-coplanar with anteclypeus on basal third, sloped on distal third; with short, decumbent, sparse yellowish setae interspersed with long, yellowish and yellowish-brown setae directed forward (centrally almost glabrous). Distance between upper eye lobes 0.1 times length of scape; distance between lower eye lobes 0.5 times length of scape. Antennae 3.25 times elytral length, reaching elytral apex at basal fifth of antennomere VI; scape rugose, abundantly, minutely punctate, with yellowish pubescence not obscuring integument; scape, pedicel and antennomeres III-IV with short, sparse, erect, brown setae ventrally (more abundant on III); antennal formula (ratio) based on antennomere III: scape = 0.51; pedicel = 0.12; IV = 0.87; V = 0.80; VI = 0.76; VII = 0.83; VIII = 0.80; IX = 0.77; X = 0.75; XI = 1.30.

. Prothorax with large, conical tubercle laterally, curved upward, distinctly narrowed toward apex, but with blunt apex, about 2.2 times as long as distance between upper eye lobes. Pronotum with two transverse, sinuous sulci, basalmost narrowest, distal most distinctly deeper centrally; with large, elevated gibbosity centrally, from apex of basal quarter to after middle, depressed centrally near its apex, and with two slightly oblique gibbosities at each side of apex of central gibbosity; somewhat rugose on each side of central gibbosity, and with small, slightly elevated, blunt tubercles; area between base and basal sulcus slightly transversely rugose; area between distal sulcus and distal margin sub-smooth; with rectangular band with yellow, dense pubescence, covering basal and distal sulci and sides close to lateral tubercle (basally widened, continuing toward sides of prothorax); remaining surface with shorter, yellowish pubescence (glabrous on apex of central gibbosity) not obscuring integument, interspersed with sparse, long, erect, yellowish setae on sides of central gibbosity. Sides of prothorax with small, sparse, shiny, blunt tubercles between basal and distal sulci; with yellow pubescence inside of sulci and yellowish pubescence on remaining surface; with long, erect, sparse, yellowish setae between sulci. Prosternum with yellowish pubescence not obscuring integument, mainly on distal third. Prosternal process longitudinally sulcate on distal half; with short, sub-erect, abundant yellowish setae (almost glabrous centrally on basal half). Mesosternum, mesepimeron and mesepisternum with yellow pubescence, more yellowish on some areas. Mesosternal process with large, shiny, glabrous tubercle projected forward; with short, sub-erect, abundant yellow setae. Metepisternum and metasternum with yellowish pubescence, almost obscuring integument. Scutellum with yellowish pubescence, partially obscuring integument.

Humerus slightly projected forward; basal sixth with small, abundant, shiny, glabrous tubercles, more distinct laterally; remaining surface finely, moderately abundantly punctate after tuberculate area, gradually, distinctly finer, sparser toward apex; with about six, irregular, large maculae with dense, yellowish-white pubescence (basalmost brownish toward prothorax); along suture with small, sub-circular maculae with dense, yellowish-white pubescence; remaining surface with yellowish pubescence distinctly not obscuring integument interspersed with sparse, small spots with yellowishwhite, dense pubescence; with moderately long, sparse, yellowish and brown setae near apex; apex obliquely truncate; outer angle with long, thick spine with blunt apex.

. Femora with yellowish pubescence almost obscuring integument. Protibiae with yellowish pubescence dorsally and laterally (less so apically), interspersed with short, erect, yellowish setae; ventrally with dense yellowish-brown pubescence. Mesotibiae with dense, suberect, yellowish-brown setae obscuring integument dorsally and ventrally (shorter ventrally and dorsally on basal half); remaining surface with yellowish pubescence interspersed with long, erect, yellowish setae. Metatibiae with dense, sub-erect, yellowish-brown setae dorsally on distal third; remaining surface with yellowish pubescence interspersed with long, erect, yellowish setae.
