This species ranges from Newfoundland (Lindroth 1955a: 23) to east-central Saskatchewan (Hooper 1978: 19), south to northeastern Minnesota (Gandhi et al. 2005: 923), northern Wisconsin along Lake Superior (Wickham 1896c: 131), the Adirondack Mountains in northeastern New York (Notman 1928: 208), and New England [see Lindroth 1963a: Fig. 68]. The record from southwestern Ohio (Dury 1906: 257) is probably in error. Roeschke (1907a: 268) statement that this species is found
