Clypeal border of this species evenly rounded or slightly truncate, with a nonreflexed margin; surface behind margin abundantly, finely punctate, lacking any protrusions. Frons and pronotum without any further elevations. Pronotum very shiny, sparsely micropunctate; elytral interstriae convex, shiny, virtually devoid of punctation. Puncture impressions of elytral striae enlarged on posterior half. Eye foramina large, closed behind,
