Wolterecks (1909) description is brief and his illustration of the whole specimen schematic, making it difficult to compare characters with other specimens. Thus, the status of this species is in doubt. The

of unique male specimen. Pleon length about half pereon. Antennae 1 as long as head and first three pereonites; callynophore slightly longer than peduncle. Antennae 2; length about 0.6x A1. Mandibular palp; length third article about 1.5x (according to illustration) or 3.0x (according to Wolterecks remarks) first two articles combined. Pereopod 5 the longest, almost twice length P7. Pereopods 37; dactylus sharp, about 0.5x length propodus for P36; slightly longer for P7.
