differs from those of the other species described in the subgenus by having the posterodorsal lobe of segment IX very protuberant; lateral processes of the phallotheca are elongated and sclerotized, ribbon-shaped, with the anterior and posterior ends bearing teeth; the distal region of the internal sclerotized portion of the ejaculatory duct is bifid; and the endothecal membranes have an expanded pre-apical region, laterally with dark areas and ventrally with spines.
