and is, therefore, placed in that genus; I have other new species at hand which also have toothed femora.

In the original description of the genus, the statement is made that one of the most aberrant characters of the genus was the fact that the tibiae completely lacked terminal mucrones. In specimens of the genotype at hand the tibiae of the females have no traces of apical tibial mucrones; the males, however, have the mid and hind tibiae distinctly mucronate at the inner apical angles. In the new

species, this situation is duplicated: the males have a prominent mucro at the inner apical angles of the mid and hind tibiae, and the females have no trace of tibial mucrones.
