<paragraph pageId="15" pageNumber="16">Length of body: 9.3 mm; length of elytra: 6.9 mm; maximum width: 5.9 mm. Surface of labroclypeus and disc of frons glabrous. Smooth area anterior to eye twice as wide as long. Eyes moderately large, ratio of diameter/interocular width: 0.58. Ratio of length of metepisternum/metacoxa: 1/1.7. Posterior margin of metafemur with blunt tooth. Metatibia moderately long and wide, ratio width/length: 1/3.31; basal group of dorsal spines of metatibia at first third of metatibial length.</paragraph>

<paragraph pageId="15" pageNumber="16">The species name (adjective in the nominative singular) is derived from the combined Greek word pseudo- (false) and Latin word uncinatus, with reference to the uncinated shape of the right paramere.</paragraph>
