Diagnosis: This species is variable in appearance, but fresh specimens have a distinctly green pronotum and legs (

Poisson has the pronotum with larger, confluent black spots and the anterior black spots on the posterior lobe are larger than are those of the nominate subspecies. This subspecies was described from Uele in
